A/C marathon at Eatonville in jeopardy!

After declining participation numbers over the last couple years (we struggled to get 3 boats for one class last year), I decided maybe this class has run it's course and we should take a year or two off. When I informed various people of this plan, the reaction was entirely negative, it turns out this is a big hit, ESPECIALLY amongst scorers and crew members (personally I think Patrick's awesome announcing plays a huge factor). Here's the deal, I can add this back onto the sanction IF I get commitments from 4 teams up front, like in the next 2 weeks. If all I get is hydros we can run just hydros, if all I get is runabouts we can run just runabouts. I will start the ball rolling, Moby Grape Racing will field a C hydro and a C runabout. I presently have no driver for those boats, but if the marathon happens I will get those boats out there if I have to get Karl Lewis to drive them If you know someone that might be interested but doesn't use hydroracer, send them this way. we have had 8-10 CSR's this year at most year, so should have plenty of those rigs........but, will have my boat available for a driver (Troy???)...............

I know ASR has been a light class at some races, but we'll cross our fingers.

That's good enough for me, I know we can come up with one more C hydro, THE MARATHON IS ON! Better start tuning up those pipes Patrick
