My guess is potassium bicarbonate which is found in your fire extinguishers that you recharge in your shop. Remember Troy Peterson, my brother-in-law, he now owns two body-shops and whenever a fire extinguisher goes off in the shop, every car that needs to get painted that's in the shop at the time, will foul up. Same thing goes for a windy, pleasant day and if the detailors are upwind using the juice that gives the tires the wet/black look. Food for thought.

Now for the cure? I'm not sure, but hopefully you can just take some pills and it will go away in time....

Clock starts for OSY? I dont remember there being enough room for beach starts..

I think there is enough room to the right of the dock. As far as my paint issues go....I do not think it is outside contamination of the paint...I do not use my shop to recharge extinguishers....that stuff can be messy and I do it outside. The only issue I had was where the red overlapped the orange....it bubbled up just where it touched that color, nothing else. There are (was) areas of blue that the red touched, and nothing happened...it layed down fine. I tried everything to get the paint to adhere to the orange.....wet sanded it, re primered it, so on down the line....nothing would stick. And...it is all the same basic product....Omni primer, paint, hardener, and reducer..and it was all mixed correctly. And, I used omni wax and grease remover. I ended up having to sand the whole dang boat down and start from scratch....used inexpensive paint and coated it with clear coat epoxy...will not have time to sand it before this weekend but it looks ok. As this is the Divisonals for OSY it is require by the new rule to be beach starts. So it has to be done. My guess is everyone off the dock pointed toward the first turn. Better get a long rope for your roper!
