  • StockOutboard TV presents: CULLABY LAKE LIVE!

    Hey Race Fans,

With a little luck and a decent internet connection, StockOutboard TV plans to broadcast the Western SO/J Divisionals and 45SST Nationals LIVE on Ustream on the StockOutboard TV channel.

We are also looking for a couple of camera operators to step up for a flight or two.

Broadcast time as always is approximate, but we hope to be on the air at 9:45 PDT.

Here's the link to the Broadcast:

StockOutboard TV is made possible by a grant from the Stock Outboard Racing Commission of the APBA...and racers like you.

    Tune in and watch us!

Pat, A suggestion. Please try and do something with the MIC as it picks up all kinds of Background chatter. lots of noise from children playing in the background to someone speaking of their ex- husband.

          Suggestion for broadcasts.

          Patrick.

May I suggest that you wire in sound directly from the announcer microphone. Background noise entering the camera is extranneous and bothersome. Sometimes you can hear the announcer but often times it is masked, muffled, echoed or unintelligible. A hardwire setup and/or a speaker very near the camera sufficient to drown out the background noise would add much information and understanding to the event going on.

The PA is in the pits, the camera is at the starting line. We do not even have enough speaker wire to run over here to the starting line. We do the best we can with what we have and every race site is a little different....

                  Patrick,

Get the wire and speaker specifications. I will get a quote and/or how about a couple cheap motorola walkie talkies and tape one onto the camera as a receiver?
