Mayfield Lake Regatta Cancelled!!
This is an email i just sent to Gloria at APBA:
Gloria- I regret to inform you and APBA that the scheduled Mayfield Lake Regatta in region 10 (April 30-May 1) has been cancelled by the Washington State Park. They have denied our day use permit for safety reasons to their bulk head near where the judges stand would be/near the first turn.
SOA members: I am sorry for any inconvience from me and Seattle Outboard Association. Please spread the word. John Paramore will be sending out a mass email as well. I am going to work on bringing this race back to Mayfield lake next year. This year has been tough so far, and we all just need to stick together in putting on phenominal races at our other sites.

Like you said, stick together and SOA and region 10 will get through this rough patch OK.
