          Indeed!

Would you happen to know the chances that the first Eatonville will be a record course?

Talk about fast water back to back races... I dig testing in spring, I always go 3mph faster!

As Kyle has stated, the schedule is tentative. But let me answer a couple of questions. If all is to go off as planned.

Yes, thanks to Tony Perman and others their will be two Eatonvilles. The April Fools Regatta on April 1-3 will include testing on Friday 4/1 and racing on a record course Sat-Sun 4/2-3. Course size is TBD but even though, as many of you know, it is tough to set a 3/4 mi record at Silver Lake, it is also tough to set up for a 1 mi course there. So if I were a betting man, I'd bet on a 3/4 mi course. The July 8-10 Eatonville race will include our very successful drivers school or as we like to call it "New People in Boats" on Friday 7/8 and racing on Sat-Sun 7/9-10. Also, their is a possibility this second Eatonville may be western PRO divisionals (TBD)

Inboard Lawrence, with up to 6 selected outboard classes, is a records race on April 16-17. Cheyney, if by the end of January you can guarantee SOA a half dozen FEH attending Inboard Lawrence, I'll recommend it as one of our selected outboard classes.

                All for now
                Jim

Once you are out it is really hard to get back in with or without snails. I am sure those few that are against racing are jumping for joy.

                      Mod Divisionals?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it R10's turn to host the Mod Divisional race this year? Any ideas which race may be selected for this? Or will R11 be hosting this year?

Kyle, The Mod Divisionals location does not have a agreement as does the Stocks do in Regions 10,11 and 12. The mod commissioners in those regions decide. However, since Region 11 has hosted the Mod Divisionals for the last 2 years I would think Region 10 should host them in 2011.

All I'll say is that the last time I had a sponsor for a record race there I let him have a major input on what size course we ran HINT HINT

                            Questions
Would Region 10 racers come down to Region 11 Oroville June event if it was a 3/4 mile record course?

Would Region 10 Racers come to our May Salt Springs race if we had a 1/4 mile Time Trial on Friday and a closed course race on Saturday/Sunday?
