Lunatic Fringe is definitely in the spirit of the thing, lots of music before the lyrics. I'm getting a hell of a musicall education out of this. Look up Saber Dance, now that's funny right there

How can the race director and CEO of Moby Grape Racing (no wait, that's Debbie) not take a Moby Grape tune like Omaha? If anyone's old enough to remembers that song how about Iron Butterfly Theme by Iron Butterfly.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the suggestions people have given Tony. Just for the heck of it I'll throw out three more. You've Got Another Thing Coming by Judas Priest, another AC/DC tune - Thunderstruck, and Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple.
Maybe you could take bids and the highest bidder gets to pick the song(s)?
Alright this ain't my first rodeo and there are tons of tunes befitting your A/C marathon. Here's a few for each generation:
For the "Gen Y'ers"
- Saliva: Ladies and Gentlemen (Probably my vote)
- 3 Doors Down: The Champion in Me
For the Gen X'ers"
- Lenny Kravitz: Bring it On
- Ministry: Jesus Built My Hot Rod (turn up the last few seconds very loud)
- Cake: The Distance
For the Headbanger/Hair Band Enthusiests
- Motley Crue: Red Hot
- Metallica: Whiplash
- AC/DC: Thunderstruck
For the skate thrashers (short songs with a lot of energy)
- Offspring: Nitro(Youth Energy)
- Bad Religion: Supersonic
For the Baby-boomers and 70s generation (and Gleason)
- Triumph: Lay it on the Line
- Black Sabbath: Iron Man
- Ted Nugent: Stranglehold (the Motor City Madman)
