Glad I was there.

PRO Boats Rock at the Kilos!
Wow! It was really great to watch Cory and Sean run those high speeds at the Kilos. Mike Pavlick and racing friends/family were there after racing with us at Lawrence Lake. Cory's 700cc Karelsen hydro prep team included both J Michael Kelly and JW Meyers of unlimited driving and outboard racing fame. Jones (JR) watched as they prepared the PRO hydro setups on Sunday. I thought the same thing as I watched these PRO drivers and hydro teams set major new speed records on the kilo course -- These speed record achievements give the PRO Class a definite place in history with a lot of limited inboard speed records! It is too bad we can't get more interest in PRO classes and USTS races on the West Coast. Congratulations to all of the new record holders. I will share a picture or two here after I download them from my camera (and revise their pixel size so I can post them.)
