  • Lake Lawrence Date Change!

    TO ALL:

As much as we hate to do this at the last moment, there has been some concern from the community regarding our date for the Lake Lawrence Record Run in September. Several letters were written in response to our letter advising the community of our upcoming race. With the weather here continuing to be nice, they requested we move the date back a week. So the official date of Lake Lawrence Records will be September 25/26/27. Testing all day Friday with a 1 1/4 mile course both Saturday and Sunday.

If you were planning on or had made reservations at the Prairie Motel in Yelm, I would call them ASAP,360-458-8300 and change your reservation as there is some sort of dog show in town and the rooms are almost full.

If you are coming in from out of town, please let us know so we can accomodate as best as possible, you can send me a pm or contact me on my cell 425-698-5768.

    Thanks,
    Sheryl Rucker

Who would I contact to persuade / bribe to change the course to 1 mile on Sunday?

        Race Chairman?
        Commodore?
        Club President?
        Surveyor?

Let me know and name your terms.

What happened to the D? I don't remember it getting wrecked at Grass Lake?

Gee Patrick's boat took flight on the way home, then tried to make a landing on the freeway. There are pictures posted on the site here somewhere, I just can't remember what thread.

There was a bow hook failure!

Welcome to hydroracer, we hope you enjoy your visit.

What!? We have a club President, where have they been all season???? J/K uggg, not the Commodore, she already tried. Not the surveyor, they could care less. Its up to your race Chairman, Jan Shaw and co chair Bill Diamond. Lemme guess, another 20ssH record at stake???lol. Call Jan.

Sounds like John is getting greedy, First he get DSH champion, then OSY400 champ and now he wants a record to boot?

There should be a large amount of money involved $$$$$$$$$$$$$

                        Course change

It does matter to the Surveyors who are the Dodges in this case. It is a ton of work for them the weekend before and then for myself who must change it over on Sat. evening to be ready for the next day as I am the monitor. Last year it was announced that it would be one course the next year so that is why the sanction reads 1 1/4 mi. There also were appeals to us last year to just run one course so those that were close to a record could go back and tweak their outfits to try and get it.
