NEW Driver Motivational System

Though Kyle was unable to attend last weekend's Lake Lytle Regatta at the Oregon Coast, I did take his boat down there and we tried testing something new.

The new KBMS (Kyle Bahl Motivational System) was a simple device, that when duct-taped to the bow of his C Runabout, gives the driver just a little more drive to "Head Toward That Shiny Thing on The Bow."

Our Test Driver, Troy Holmberg fell for it, hook line and sinker. If it shows this must promise with Troy, one can only imagine what it might do with a "Thirsty" driver like Mister Bahl.

Reminds me of one of the many stories from Ron Hill. Apparently there was this guy who, during marathons would bring a 6 pack and drink while driving. If you were behind him, you would see these beer cans empty and floating in the water....At the time, the rule book said that you could not have alcohol in the pits, but said nothing about alcohol while driving.

So, the next year there wa sa rule change apparently....

Maybe someone who knew the story can tell it better.
