and that boat is a 1998 Mostes.... He runs it very high at times, but then he is only around 55kg.. It's my favourite boat for taking pictures of, you can always get a good one...

The rough water myth is a bunch of BS! Marc Johnson clearly stated a few months back that US builders just don't have the know how to work out the balance of a true lay down. For years now everyone has confused European OPC racing which normally takes place in between sea walls to cover all European racing which just is not the case.

                    THANKS STEVE
ANOTHER GREAT PHOTO FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE POND!!!!
AND DAN I WAS TRYING TO LET THE MYTH OUT TOO, SOME BUILDERS WILL NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON BUILDING A CABOVER 0250/O350 BOAT IN THE USA. "MOST" WILL NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON IT FAILING
YOU WILL SEE A LEAST 2-0250 USA BUILT HULLS AT THE WORLDS NEXT YEAR.

Are the European boats faster than the American boats??? I really don't know much about these alkys, especially how they run across the pond. Do they run together all that often?

Also, does anyone have any drawings of the boats used in Europe? I would be very interested in comparing them dimensionally to what is being done over here.

the latest is that an appeal has been submitted by the Cremona Boys (Max & Alex) and the Italian Federation, the FIM - apparently it went all the way up to the President of the FIM who is providing his support to the appeal.

As part of the appeal process, the sealed fuel samples that were taken in Poland will be thoroughly tested in a lab using gas chromatography analysis. I don't know how long this analysis and the appeal process will take but I hope that it results in a satsfactory outcome

As and when I know more, I will keep you updated

                            Appeal..

The Appeal has already been submitted along with the 1540 Euro fee for the cost, I have a copy here.

The Sample A was tested in Poznan on the Monday after the event, neither driver was present.

And are European boats faster than US ?? Guess we will find out in 2008.
