FORMULA 250 - WARSAW
Henryk Synoracli (Poland) is this year’s European Formula 250 Champion after winning the final round in Warsaw with 1100 points. Raced over four rounds Synoracki has scored two third places and won the final two rounds to take the title with 70 points. His nearest rival was round 1 winner Ilka Rytkonen (Finland) 58 points, with Johan Dickfors (Sweden) third with 55 points. The winner from Bitterfeld, Massimilliano Cremona (Italy) was fourth with 53 points.
Scoring a superb second position in Warsaw was Malcolm Goodman (Lancashire P.R.C.) with 825 points. This second position gives Goodman, who crashed out of the Italian round, 40 Championship points and fifth position overall in the European Championship. LOBMBC’s Paul Jillings finished seventh in Warsaw, and ends the season in ninth position in a series which has attracted 33 competitors.
