Hey Sports Fans!
The U.S. A-Team is off to Germany to represent the United States at the OSY 400 World Championships!
This year’s team is compact, due to the conflict in dates with the Stock Nationals, but no less primed for competition. The team consists of Team Captain and principle Driver Billy Allen, Executive Administrator Rachel Warnock, Head Pit Man Dudley Smith, and Photographer Dave Recht. The team will again be running the Kamp Kurz racing hull that qualified 3rd in time trials and took 6th overall at last year’s Estonian- based World Championship. After hours of arduous testing, the team feels confident of their ability to compete with the best racing teams in the world.
The team will be arriving on the scene on Wednesday, August 1st and will be giving updates via HydroRacer, APBA Social, and Facebook. The actual dates of the competition are August 4th and 5th. Along with the usual photos and news articles, the team plans to return with video footage this year and it will be up on the website following the teams’ return to the states.
In looking forward to World Championships this year I wanted to again thank you on behalf of the team for your most generous and continued support. The members of the U.S. A-Team are both honored and humbled to representing their country, and to have your unwavering commitment to this program.
Fast Boats Rock!!
