  • Weight proposal 125-175-250

To all drivers O- classes 125-175-250: this week end will be held (airlines company's allowing) the Cominsport meeting in Amsterdam.
Me and other 13 drivers has done signature for some new weight limits:
O-125 100 kg boat only will be 90kg 170 kg total the same as before
O-175 110 kg boat only will be 100kg 180 kg total the same as before
O-250 120 kg boat only still 120kg 10 kg more on total will be 200 kg
this will help the "heavy" drivers, without reduce the "good quality" of the boats construction.
The drivers that approve and like to help these proposals can write a mail to
    grmracing@tin.it
    For real sport competitions...
Best Regards to all Rossi Giuseppe

Do these figures include the boat, motor, fuel, and everything but the driver?

Or just the boat itself (with hardware)?

      Weight? Are you kidding?

Why would you want to even the field? I thought it was fair for a 200 pounder to compete with a 120 pounder. Besides, why would you want to have to carry those heavy rigs to the scales?

Boat racing secret of the day:

UIM has always had minimum weights for the O classes.

I converted kg to lbs (rounded up or down to nearest 5 lb) for US readers:

O-125 220 lb boat only will be 200 lb: 375 lbs total the same as before
O-175 245 lb boat only will be 220 lb: 400 lbs total the same as before
O-250 265 lb boat only still 265 lb: 10 kg more on total will be 440 lb
