  • StockOutboard TV: Wakefield Videos Posted

Feeling depressed because you're not in Lock Haven, Wisconsin, Kanakee, or somewhere that boat racing is going on Labor Day Weekend? Or maybe because there's no Rockaway race this year?

Well, sulk no more: StockOutboard TV has finally posted the captured video of nearly ALL the heats from Wakefield on to YouTube. You can find these at http://www.youtube.com/user/StockOutboardTV?ob=5

DISCLAIMER: There are a few heats that didn't get recorded. Either the memory card ran out, the button didn't get pushed, or whatever. Deal with it. What we do have though, is the lion's share of everything that was streamed from the Stock/Mod/J Nationals.

    Enjoy!

Unfortunately, no. I was on the way to the Duluth Airport Saturday morning when they were running.

The biggest step has already been taken, that was done when the Stock Outboard TV YouTube site was open. The next step is also pretty simple, it involves people like you and me and the sharing process. Videos go viral by millions of people sharing them across the three major social networking sites. Facebook, Twitter and Google+ are your pipeline to the general public.

"Like buttons and share buttons" are the gateway to the outside world!

                Enjoy!

The content below is from Mashable:

Of course, the hope of most marketers is not just that people will watch their video, but that they will also share it. At my company, we’ve found that people will often remain watching a video three times longer when it has been shared by a friend, as opposed to finding it themselves on a website. But while shared advertising is considered the Holy Grail, getting people to share is often an elusive goal.

It would depend on who you're trying to target and what you're trying to share, but a facebook like/link button is probably your most important tool. Since facebook has over 750 million users in their network (and 50% of the US population uses facebook) the likelihood that your content will be seen rises dramatically. Google+'s future is uncertain, but since it is growing so quickly, and the majority of people use Google to search anyway, a +1 button is also important.

Glad that you are enjoying the videos. As Dan said, the next step is to make them go Viral, so feel free to embed links to your favorites on your Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, email, whatever.......
