Format/Rules 4 laps of an approx. 1 mile course. NOT approved for records. TYPE OF START: Clock

Prizes Olympic Style Medallions. Prize Money will be mailed by check according to USTS rules. Must be member of U.S. Title Series to qualify for prize money. Medals awarded 15 minutes after each day of racing.

Registration Friday - in pits: Open 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Saturday: Open 8:00 a.m - 9:00 a.m. Sunday: NO Registration.

Drivers Meeting Saturday and Sunday - in Pits - 10:00 a.m.

Notes * NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted after driver registration is closed. * All U.S.Title Series Rules and Regulations apply. Racing Uniform Dress Code will be enforced. * Driver must scratch before or during driver roll call to receive refund. No late scratches allowed. * $50 penalty fee for destroying each buoy. * Three Heats except as noted. * Both scheduled days of racing will be run on one day due to possible bad weather conditions on either race day. * Number of laps and number of heats will be shortened due to weather conditions. * Friday - Insured testing for Capsule and non-capsule boats. * Race Director will direct parking of all trailers. * Saturday Night - Drivers' Party; details will be placed the Promotion and on the web.

Drivers party will be catered on saturday night. I have set up for salad, baked ziti and dessert. The usual $5 per person charge applies. We will have sweet and unsweetened tea...BYOB for anything else. Dinner will start at 1830.

I just spoke with the park director and I have been told the High Beams is no longer but there are 2 new places in the vicinity of the hotels we will have to check out.

I am sure some of the guys wish it was. ....it was our favorite sports bar in Raleigh mostly because it was right next to the hotel....so we could walk or stumble back each night.

I've never registered on the website before. I guess I'm just missing it, but where on the website do you register for the Raleigh race?

On the home page go to the drop down list under "USTS Information"
Click on "Login"

In order to obtain a log on and password you must first send an email to the webmaster, Jared Grysko (the link is on the bottom of the home page).
Once he sends you your log in and password you are good to go.

Just be prepared to have a GREAT time!

I assume you are running OSY-400. If I am correct, you will need to bring your own fuel.

Methanol that is! Raleigh is a great course, Ive seen some good racing the past couple of years can't wait to be apart of it!
