  • HOT in DePue

Well, the Nationals were rainy and a bit uncomfortable, but WOW!! The past few days have been in the mid 90's, and it is expected to continue all week. The lake sure is quiet, and we miss all of you. Hope everyone had safe trips home, and we look forward to seeing you in Dayton if all goes as planned. We all went to Grandma Bonnie's wake. Lots of racers and families paid their respects. She was a dear friend and will be missed. Clare

Thanks to all of you for all you did to make it yet another great Nationals and fun time. Although I can't seem to stop breaking at race time, it still is the best time to be had. We all saw how hard you and so many worked there.

    See you next year.

If it makes you feel any cooler it was 107 degrees when I got off work here in NC this afternoon at 3PM.....of course it is 125-130 in Baghdad so no sympathy from my significant other!! I am so so glad the Nationals were not this week!!!
