I saw it !!

That was a good presentation. They did a fantastic job of keeping the action going, the commentator was really good, knew his stuff. They did a bang up job.

Watching some of the faces i know was weird. Especially Rick Miller in OSY400. They called him the bumble bee boat ! hehehehe.

They even showed the K Pro class, whcih was great. Amy Elderidge did a great job interviewing, and the helmet cams were great shots.

All in all, I think it was worth the wait.

Best thing though was the ending, "In Memory of Nic Davis" flashed on the screen for 5 seconds. Very cool.

If they replay it, I HIGHLY reccomend everyone with Dish Network to watch it. Channel 217, Water Channel.

Interesting enough I got an email from the producer last night saying it will be aired on Thursday. I sent him an email back letting him know it was on last night. I am waiting to hear back from him but it MAY be on again Thursday evening. I am glad some of you caught it. There will be DVD version available, however I do not have the details on that yet.

If You Tape It..

And intend to use it for any kind of promotional use, make sure you get permission. This is the real deal, no small fry making a quick DVD to get some sponsors. You could get into real trouble if you use the program for anything other than watching for entertainment.

I personally reccomend every boat racer watch this. Learn from it. If you really want the sport to grow, we need more things like this. Email the Water Channel and let them know how much you enjoyed the show. Feedback is always a good thing.

Pro ON TV

This isnt the first time PRO has been on TV. SPEED VISION came to the nationals twice I believe in the last few years. The PRO category tries to get a TV contract every year with some racing channel. That might be the reason the USTS gets sponsors and tow and prize money at many races. Along with a professionally done promotional tape, the pros do a good job of at least trying to promote their category. The other categories need to do the same. Oh, I forgot, the speed channels arent interested in 8 hr. shows.

Those of you who have actually caught this have told me it is a 1 hour show....the times posted are for the time slot...so if it is listed for 7 and 7:30 it starts at 7 and goes through 7:30 to 8:00. Sorry for the confusion.
