  • Memorial Day Weekend Race

BAD NEWS As noted in another post, the USTS race originally scheduled for Omaha's Carter Lake has been cancelled for this season due to low water conditions at the lake. We are disappointed to have to cancel the race, as this has become a favorite destination for the USTS teams.

GOOD NEWS There is a little town in Illinois that just loves boat racing!! The town of DePue has graciously opened its doors, so that we will have a race over the holiday weekend. This will be a full USTS event with testing on Friday followed by a normal Saturday/Sunday schedule. More details to come over the following weeks, but we should probably make hotel reservations as early as possible. No word yet on a "headquarter" hotel. Plan for a drivers dinner Saturday night at the race site.
