Make sure while you are in Hammondsport you visit the Glen Curtiss Museum and the Fingerlakes Boat Museum. Curtiss was the principle competitor of the Wright Brothers in early Aviation. He was a engine builder and champion motorcycle racer, too. Boat museum nearby in the old Taylor Cellars Winery and features over 100 historic wooden boats. Google them !
