  • Lake Alfred coming quick---April 15-17, 2016

The Lake Alfred Lions Club with Steve Fawcett and his compatriots are hosting the first round of The U.S. Title Series at beautiful and fast Lake Alfred, Florida in about 3 weeks. Don't forget to get to the online registration so that you are good to go right away when you check in.

Steve and his gang have some fun activities for us during the weekend and we look forward to seeing them and renewing our friendships with the folks at the Lions Club and their wonderful facility and park.

There are new drivers, new equipment, some drivers putting in time in equipment for owners that are new, so should be fun to see what you "brung." We understand that new boats, new motors, and new paint jobs a plenty for that weekend will hit the water. We understand that Jake Quesse is moving into the ultra competitive 250H class and will be fun to watch. Heard rumor that Mike Thirlby has a new driver for one of those super fast runabouts and will be looking for them to take the water. The Hooten clan purchased a Derek Gesler built runabout and will be fun to see them added to the big runabout classes. Saw a picture of Paulie Bosnich with a lid over his head in a dunk tank the other day, hmmmm. Should be fun folks

Get there early for your test time on Friday with racing Saturday and Sunday for a fun time to be had by all.

Sounds like 250 hydro might be interesting. Pete Kelley and J. P. Jebwabney are both sporting new Aero-Marine Design 250 boats. Pete posted a picture of his and J. P's boat will be sent for rigging tomorrow. This is J.P's and Pete's looks identical.
