  • U.S. Title Series meeting and Awards Banquet

The USTS business meeting and banquet was held this past Saturday with a great attendance for both.
The business meeting with all board members present laid out the racing and club success to propel us to an even better 2016.
Todd Brinkman was once again elected President and will once again lead us in the direction that is best for the USTS. We thank all of the folks who have supported the USTS and know that with Todd’s leadership once again, that we are headed in the right direction for our series.

Below you will find a list of the High Point champions for each of our classes and also our Congratulations to the award winners as well. We appreciate so much our drivers and crews efforts to put on one of the best shows in boat racing and look forward to another great year.

    Speaking of award winners,
Tim Small was presented with the Elite driver of the year in 2015. Tim’s award comes from a variety of ways to accumulate points toward that Elite Award, such as winning both National Championships, High Point Champtionships, heat wins, etc. Congrats Tim

Amy Nydahl, not only taking High Point Championships, Nationa Championships, walked away with one of the most coveted awards for the Title Series. She was presented with the Zak award named the dear friend of boat racing, Harry Pasturzak who passed though our lives much too quickly. He was a friend to just about anyone who needed help and was up and down the pit area wearing that familiar apron, looking for those who needed a little boost. Amy, absolutely one of the drivers, that gives her all in whatever class she is running.

Jon Wienandt was awarded the up and comer award this year as Jon has been improving each heat, each race, and each Nationals. So much fun to see him doing well.

.Our thanks to our fans, our sponsors, our leaders, volunteers, our leadership, and of course our drivers who put on a great show, week and week out

My bad, lost my list of award winners. Jean Tennell and Tom Cronk were awarded USTS Appreciation plaques for their many contributions to our Titleseries. Jean, one of the finest photographers in capturing great action shots as well as helping the TITLE SERIES drivers with our action cards. Jean was also instrumental in putting together our graphics for shirts, caps, and other clothing items.

Tom Cronk has been invaluable to us as he has been our inspector for equipment for our drivers and equipment. Tom comes up from Fl for each race and heads up and down the beach as our helpmate. Tom as you probably know, enjoyed this season watching Mackenzie winning the K-pro championships in his boat this year

Many thanks to you both and my apologies for missing it in my original post.

Congratulations to all the US Title Series winners and to the Title Series itself. The Title Series has it's act together.

Congratulations to all of the USTS high point winners and especially those running GRM motors. 125H, David Tenney, 125R, JJ Walls, 250H Amy Nydahl, 250R, Tim Small, 350H Amy Nydahl, 350R, Tim Small, and 500H, Doug Hall. It looks like, if you want to win, you better be running a GRM.
