Well the countdown began yesterday, as many of the participants at Constantine began the westbound trip of about 4 hours to the mecca of outboard racing, the best water, and to the best sponsor on the planet in The Depue Men's Club.
Many other drivers not able to make Constantine are now parking their trailers in the pit area and are preparing for one hellacious weekend of racing starting Friday and going through to Sunday. Testing will start on Wednesday and continue through all day Thursday. Do not forget that we will hand out Sunday's Constantine medals immediately after the testing is over on Thursday in front of the Men's Club food stand.
Some fun things are going to be going on with a very nice tribute to a former driver to come with some really great stories to be shared. The bands will play, people will get stuffed with some of the best food on lakefront, with the Depue Men's Club food stand and others, TACO'S anyone????? There will be a carnival as I understand it as well.
We look forward to full fields and 5 heats in many of the classes. We surely invite the OSY 400 drivers here in the Midwest to come join the fun on Friday and get some test time in before you head to the CSH finals in Moses Lake.
