USTS race in Raleigh

Does anyone have any further information on the USTS race coming up in Raleigh, NC in October? Is it still on, and is the date still the same?

Raleigh Race

Chris and all,

The date for this race is October 14-16th with the 14th being a testing day. Kristi has worked diligently with the city and park to make the arrangement for the race. She is seeking sponsorhips, but are committed at this point to holding the event. Proceeds from the gate are going to a couple of funds that assist military vets and their families.

Normal USTS schedule and I beleive that OSY400 will be added for one of the days.

This is a world class venue for boating racing and we are very fortunate to have secured it. IF any one has an idea for sponsors in the area, please contact a USTS board member. Also, I am sure that could use volunteers for turnboats, set-up, tear-down and conducting the race.
