Go to J-Dub Meyer's Facebook page and if like me, you will absolutely drool over a picture of 10 to 12 "F" roundabouts sitting side by side ready for 3 minute gun to go off. If I was smart enough I would post it here. Sent shivers down my spine thinking of that wonderful sound of the send off from them firing up the loopers and Merc's at the same time. Good viewing. Hopefully someone can figure it out how to post it. Makes great screensaver.

The only thing better to me than running 1100r with that many in a heat was watching the video and hearing the all time best announcer Ray Rodda announcing the race. If you have not had the pleasure to hear RLR announce you are missing one great announcer and Great Friend!!! Ray you always got us pumped up just hearing you announce us when we were getting staged to race.
Thanks for all you do for boat racing!!!!
Ray- Alan Ishi and I were talking last weekend about a Depue trip but neither of us like flying lol

My Granddaughter was deck rider for Brian Payne at depue this year in 1100 runabout in Our Krier runabout with a Konny engine.
She did finish 3rd and has her plaque on the wall along with several pictures--its all she can talk about ever since.
Ray did her and Brian proud with the expert commentary I can still hear him on the Mic.
Truly a crowd pleaser and one of the best shows in the Pro's

And A Little More
Pat,
That is awesome. Also, a couple of rides were raffled to fans at DePue. Derek Gesler and Mike Thirlby took two lucky riders on the race course and ran a couple of hot laps in front of the crowd. This was very well received. Something could be done with a Formula E. BTW - Appropriate waivers were signed and required paperwork was completed to keep it all "square". A nice manner to race some $$'s and maybe land a new racer.
