Usts nationals update
With the USTS NATIONALS approaching quickly, here are some updates. The Saturday Night Banquet will be held at the VFW across from the pit area. This change will make it much more convenient for everyone to attend after the races. Tickets will be sold throughout the week. Also there will be a drivers party after Wednesdays testing. The Depue Mens Club is already starting to get busy with the preparations. Now is the time to get registered for both Constantine and Depue. Lets going racin.Last edited by Tim Small; 07-09-2013, 10:05 AM.

Sadly
I won't be in Constantine this year due to another race conflicting. I always look forward to seeing everyone in Constantine, and pitting for the Kirts. Hope to see a lot of you in Centrallia IL ! Plenty of beers to drink there too ! And if Litzal brings that hand made contraption that speeds through the mudslide making process, that would be awesome ! Usually pretty warm in Centrallia and an ice cold Mudslide would go down real good !Dave Mason

Something new to our souvenirs will be hoodies this year. A special deal is in the works for them. Jake did a great job on them. We are looking forward to seeing our "boat racing family " in about 12 days. Debbie has the Runabout Dinner Club up and running with a full bar. Be safe and safe travels until you all come "home" again. See all of u in Depue at the lake

US Title Series “Speed Week” is fast approaching. Located in the center of the country, the work is already started to make this dual event one of the greatest in memory. Eight days of near continuous action pack excitement.
In 2013 the beginning of our 31 year, the U.S. Title Series tackles a highly rigorous schedule. With the beginning of “Speed Week” the racers head up north to Constantine Michigan and then back to DePue Illinois for the US Title Series PRO Nationals.
A US Title Series Race Venue is adrenaline on overload! Family entertainment with the ultimate thrill in terms of fierce competition and action packed excitement. Each Race has High powered racing Hydros or Runabouts battling each other for the lead, with boats barely in the water and inches from going over the edge!
US Title Series is comprised of Professional Outboard race classes, with engine displacement ranging from 125cc to 1100cc, in both Hydros and Runabouts race boats. The largest classes are capable of speeds over 110 mph! Additionally on the program, K Pro Hydro is our junior entry level class for the Kids!
With incredible competition, a US Title Series event is a weekend pack full of excitement to bring the crowd to their feet screaming for more! Upwards of 200 racers take to the water each race event to compete. With intense pressure in both the pits and on the water, the final decision sometimes decide by mere tenth of a second, the fans will be on their feet screaming for their favorite driver.
In this sport, if you blink at the start, you’re last at the finish.
US Title Series Professional Outboard Racing Series “Where winners are made on the water!”
I’ll be there, will you?
Constantine MI July 19-21
DePue IL July 24-28

USTS Speed Weeks
Only a few days left until USTS SPEED WEEKS 2013. Keep those entries coming. Already pushing 150 pre-entries for Depue Nationals, lets shoot for 200. Looks like many classes will have to be split. Also looks like a great turnout for Constantine. Remember you must be registered to test, and have 2013 USTS boat inspection sticker. See you all next week!!!!

2013 Speed Week and the Lake DePue Nationals Championships
For some people SPEED WEEK has already started. Mine starts in the morning. After a great breakfast at the Giant's Den I hit the road.
Speaking of the Giant's Den Angie is looking forward to seeing everyone. She will have your favorites all week, including a breakfast buffet Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 7am.
Casey's will have plenty of supplies plus some specials
Remember I will not be having any fuel delivered this year.
Also remember parking the 5th wheels behind the beer gardens as always.
Let me know if you need something shipped. It will be delivered right to the lake.
There willl be a driver's party on Wednesday night in the pits.
The banquet this year is at the Runabout Dinner Club at the VFW building right here in DePue.
By keeping it in DePue we should have a bigger crowd. Debbie who runs the Runabout is doing the cooking for us that night. She is a avid race fan and the food she puts out is GREAT. I ate supper there tonight, you can tell I haven't cooked many meals at home lately. Plus the Bud Lite and Miller Lite is some of the coldest beer in town. Plus during the week the bar will be open
Stop in and have a cold one or two.
The Men's Club and the Village are working hard and looking forward to a great week.
Have a safe trip to Constantine and then to the BEST DAM RACE SITE IN THE USA.
Big Pal
One more and we go

She's healing well and I'm playing Mr. Mom and we're both cussing all the way
