I see that the 700 hydro Eastern Divisional has been moved to Pryor. Is it going to run in place of the 1100 hydro on the schedule or are we going to run both? Are the points for Title Series going to be scored as 700 hydro or are they being added to the 1100 hydro points? Just curious since this is the only time we will have run 700 this year.

I see that the scheduling question has now been answered. No 1100 hydro. Is the 700 class going to be scored as its own Title Series points? I'm sorry if these sound like stupid questions at this point, but there are points championships at stake at this last race and I just want to be clear on what I am going after. Thank you.

Title series classes should be run at a Title Series race. 700 is not a class that is run for points. Does this mean that the 1100 title is over? This title should be determine at the last race. If a 700 class is run it should be a add on. Just my thought......Bob

700 is nomore a title series class than 1100--both only run 2 heats.
500 is the only USTS capsule class. Because 700 was scheduled in Hartford as a Eastern Divisional championship we switched it to Pryor for several reasons
1. we needed to have a Eastern Divisonal Champ
2 Championships are good Promo for sponsoring originazations .
3. Believe it costs something with APBA and we did not want to waste the Fee
4. if 700 is not run more than just the Nationals then one of the 3 capsule classes might get put on the list for extinction
5 there are very few or maybe no 1100's being run in 1100 mostly 700's
6 ya can not buy a 1100 from any manufacturer, ya have to make it yourself


There are more reasons-but these are enough
