Constantine - Saturday

the first stop of speed week for the U.S. Title Series was in Constantine, Mi today. A total of 95 entries greeted us for the wknd. Day started cloudy and cool, ended with lots of thunder and huge light show, with huge heat in btwn.

Day brought a great show with, the 1st try of 350h having Jon Elderige blowing over side ways in the 1st turn, came out uninjured, thanks to being outside for the start and not being in anyone's path.

Yes, we could only run 10 for final, narrow water. Actually had 15, but 2 scratched b4 started. Today we have elms in 250h.

Would love to see that many 500 runabouts on that course. Last time I ran there we had 6 and I thought that was alot.

It is interesting the way classes go up and down , it seems a few years ago 6 of 7 were the norm. When is the last time there were 15 registered not to mention 10 on the water at one time. That will be fun to watch at DePue!!!!!

How many 125H's were there? I noticed a couple SO drivers finished in the top three. Were either of them step-ups?

8 started and Kurt did a wonderful job Jeff, forgive me he is a PRO to us.LOL Tried and true 125's.
