Day dawned bright and promising for a good day of racing and we finished all heats except the 3rd and final heat of 500H as a thunderstorm overtook us at the end. My paperwork was gathered up and so this is from memory, short like other things.

A lot of hard work by the folks from 3M and the visit Eau Claire folks to bring this about and we thank Beth, Rebeca and Mike for their help. Speical thanks also to Sue Sailor and all her crew for the help they give me over the year

7 250R hit the water with Rich Krier taking a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd to finish out front. Brother Mike Krier was second and Tim Small third as he took two first place finishes only to have a gremilin in the second heat cause him to stop right in front of the judges stand a lap short.

4 350H took to the water with Jeff Kugler taking the win, but Mark Stahl in that brand new Euro design clearly had the speed, but jumped the gun in the first heat and that cost him dearly as he won the other two heats. Ike Yoder finished in the 3rd spot.

9 500R hit the starting line with the Wright entry of Brian Payn wining two of the heats, but not able to run the 2nd heat and gave the overall win to well deserving Pete Voss. Voss was at or near the front in all 3 heats and was very clearly fast.

9 125H answered the first 3 minute gun and David Tenney of Ct. took the heat win in a brand new Euro built hydro of his. David Jones unable to finish the heat headed to shore with some sort of problem. He came back and took the next two heats, but was unable to overcome Tenney's points for all three heats. The venerable Ralph Donald finished 3rd in all three heats

7 500H were roaring to the water at the 3 minute mark with Sean McKean taking heat number one with Doug Hall unable to finish. In the second heat Doug took the win with Sean second. The gun was fired for the 3rd heat, but the rain and wind, caused a stoppage. So Sean took overall win.

Marcus Johnson-500R, Rick Savor-500H(Thirlby equipment), and Brian Palmquist-125H all joined us for the first time and we welcome them to the Title Series racing.

All in all a great place to race, great pits, good crowd and good racing.

Finish it off tomorrow, Good night!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ray
