Us title series season opener

The US TITLE SERIES kicks off the 2011 season Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29 in Menomonie Wisconsin. This is our first trip to this new race site, and the city along with our sponsor 3M are excited to bring our sieries to their town. The BIG NEWS is that we have secured 10,000 dollars in tow money for the event along with other events the city is planning during our stay. Friday night will feature an autograph session with all boats being on display along with drivers and crew to sign autographs and explain to the fans what the US TITLE SERIES is all about. Please bring your RACING CARDS and POSTERS for the session. Friday will kick things off with a full day of testing followed by two days of non stop pro hydroplane and runabout racing. The RV parking area has not been finalized as of now but will be updated in a following post. Hotel information can be found by going to the US TITLE SERIES website and click on the Menomonie Chamber of Commerce. Online registration is now open for the USTS Season opener in Menomonie Wisconsin. Go to ustitleseries.org and log in to register. With the large TOW MONEY being given we are expecting boats from as far west as California and Washington, and as far east as NY and CT. Lets get those entries in early to make it easier on the crew at the race site. Also get your hotel reservations ASAP, as we have heard the Comfort Inn and Super 8 are filling up quickly.

Size of trailer doesnt matter. Tow money is dispersed as per USTS rules, which is basicly distance traveled.

Only 3 weeks until the USTS season opener in Menomonie Wisconsin. Lets get those pre-entries in by going to our website at ustitleseries.org and log in to registration. SPECIAL NOTE: The USTS will be supplying each entry with 2US TITLE SERIES logo stickers at registration. Please pick them upwhen registering and apply to each entry before the event begins. Airport Bus Service

will there be capsule certification testing at the race?

Just FYI, but all capsule training must be done in a pool now. no capusle certification at race sites in lakes any more. This was past in January by all commissions.

Storage of trailers between races

Where is it posted for storage up north??? Went
to USTS web site and can't find it .Post it on HR.

Tom - it's within the article on the home page of USTS...but here is the part about storage:

"An outdoor storage space for trailers has been secured a few miles from the park for teams leaving their equipment between races. Also a 14 passenger bus runs thru Menomonie on a schedule to MSP Airport. You must reserve a seat or they may not be able to accomodate us. Look under CHIPPEWA VALLEY AIRPORT SERVICE online for their schedule. Bus service leaves Menomonie at 6:30 Sunday evening, or first run Monday at 3:20 am. They would prefer 12 to 14 people for the van to stop. Please make your reservations if interested. "

Trailer storage

If it would help anyone with trailer storage. I have room for one small enclosed or open trailer and truck at my place near St. Paul MN. I am one block of of HWY 61. Which will take you right to Winona. It is only a 2 hour drive from my place to Winona.

I can also pick up or take you to the airport if needed. I am 20min from there.
