Everyone in racing knows the anxious feeling you have when someone goes over in the boat. I am no different and quite honestly, probably much worse. Watching my brother go over was very difficult on Saturday afternoon. Jerry is one of Paulie's competitors and the first words out of his mouth after coming in with Paulie's boat was how is Paulie.... He didn't ask about the boat that was only 2 weeks old that he built, he didnt ask about the new motor on the back of the boat, he asked about Paulie.
What a great man Jerry is and we are very lucky to have him around...
The only thing that would have made him being around better would have been his lucky boots :-)
