I think the pictures you are referring to are of Mike Kriers accident. There is a series of 9 pictures and they are very scarey.
I couldn't remember which one it was as they were both in the same place. (I may also have been drinking when Billy showed them to me. ) As I am a new guy to the PRO races, I am sure that I am mistaken. Either way, it was an amazing sequence which was at the same time both scary and amazing.

      Talked with Mike tonight.
When they were getting ready to transport Mike to the hospital in Spring Valley I was in the ambulance talking with him and he asked me if I come to pay him the money I owed him. The first thing tonight he asked me when I called was did send him the money I owed him, and I told him that I would rather owe it to him than beat him out of it. He has to come to Hartford and get it.
He is a little stiff he said he was doing hot laps around his deck in the wheel chair when I talked with hm.
Brian Payn was over playing nurse maid for him today. Boy is that a scary thought.
The doctors want to give the pelvis a chance to heal on its own. He has to go back to the doctor on Wednesday and have another MRI, done and then he'll know more.
When I know more I'll post it.
Take care and get well soon

I think that's why Brian was there to see if that motor was available for Hartford in a couple of weeks.

I am glad Tom Kirts is doing better. His was a scary momment also.

Kenny and Katherine Krier and Terry and I stayed at the campground when Mike was in the hospital. HIs twin sister Judy is a nurse practioner so he was in good hands and called back frequently. At one point there was a fear of internal bleeding and we did get scared. I looked at Brian Payn's 3 year old Brandon and told him in in no uncertain terms, "You are not going to race boats!" He turned around to me and said in an even more certain tone, "Yes I am!" That from a 3 year old. There is no winning here.
I am betting brother Rich has the racing equipment locked up. I would not put it past Mike to put an engine on that wheelchair. I wonder if that is why Brian brought him the old 125 engine?

Brennen talked to Mike this week, said that he sounded pretty good considering. Connie what 125 motor??? Brad is pushing to put Baylee in a 125 already...I don't think so!!!! Right now I'm happy with her just staying in the boat, I personally don't care if she runs in the back of the pack. Have a card to send to Mike...has a golden retriever on the front of it....bella misses her boyfriend, lol.
