Here are the before and after photos of Nick Noethe's capsule boat after the 2nd heat of the 700 hydro. It happened at the far end of course and was hard to see ,a very scary moment until we saw his hands over his head!!! Thankfully Nick is ok , more than can be said for his boat.

Congrats to Yvonne

Yvonne Koenig wins the 700 hydro title and recieves congratulations along the shore. Doug Hall just had to finish the last heat but could not get his engine started !!!!

The day started off in less than perfect conditions. Rain and a little wind blowing from the southwest. All in all , considering the conditions , there was a great spectator turnout - would you expect anything less in DePue!!!

There two good heats of racing , but heat 3 was really great. Three guys had a chance to win the title which made for great heat!!
