Team USA suffered bad luck in the qualifying heats. Billy Allen was involved in an incident in one of the turns and did not qualify. There were 38 boats trying to get into 16 final positions.

Minor incident, just a little boat rubbing. That's boatracing.

Neither Tony nor Billy made the final show in Poland.

      On to Estonia!

                Thanks Corin.
I understand the Slovakian dude won all his heats, even after having his motor fizzle out right after he crossed the finish line!

First part of this sports report from Polish TV shows footage of the races from the Worlds

Just working my way through the Polish & German reports of the Worlds. Sounds like the DSQs were as a result of engine 'irregularities'. One report has Eva Sacherlova and Laura Stainyte in 2nd & 3rd place respectively until they were thrown out. Don't know how true this report is.....no doubt the details will all come out in due course

Spread the word to the crew, good luck! Them points is hard to come by in world championship racing.
On facebook, Trevor Chatters is the photo guy. He's posted some video, but no still pics yet.

People in Poland could not have been nicer and more helpful.
USA Team in Berlin waiting for a flight to Copenhagen. . .
I think they're waiting for Clark Griswold and then they'll board.

                                World OSY 400 Championship

Entire results from both 'A' and 'B' finals available at www.motorowodny.strefa.pl

I believe both DSQ's were for Reed Valve settings.

                                42 entries received by organisers, 38 signed-on.

Perfect water conditions throughout the meeting which resulted in only 2 minor accidents - a superb venue.

Record entry for the OSY Championship, and second highest in UIM World Sprint Championship history.

Bazinsky stopped moments after taking the win in heat 2 with a broken piston ring. Your certainly require an element of luck when you are gold medal chasing!

Craig Dewald was kept busy modifying props for various customers the entire weekend, including several for the overall winner.

First 3 placings occupied by composite constructed hulls. No kneeler craft.
