Fast!!!!!
[/B]Terry Klemm, driving a 600cc Rossi went through the traps at over 112mph and has won the nationals with it the last two years. It is very very fast.
Miss those behemoths though. The punch coming out of the corner was the real trick to the 700, much more than straightaway speeds.

The 700 Runabouts were a real hand full. It was scary fast and the acceleration out of a turn was incredable. There were several mishaps with the power of these engines. Now 500 Runabouts are faster then those old 700 cc runabouts. As they approach the 100 MPH range things happen very fast. We were glad to have the second person in the runabout (1100 CC) to add thay additional weight to the rig. Now a full blown 700 Konig/Konny,VRP is some ride. Bob N-96
