I notice in Cambridge Maryland a few weeks back that many of the GNH boats had installed head braces at the top of seat similar to NASCAR seats. Now I see why
The capsule might safe your life but you might still end up eating dinner through a straw if you break your neck from head rotation during a violent roll. How many guys are using the Hans in boat racing?
I don’t care what anyone says I still have tons of reservations about the whole capsule thing after the one I saw fall apart at Cambridge. Who governs these things? Can you just make your own and hope for the best?
I have seen several up close that look like nothing more then a few layers of thin carbon fiber. Clearly the F1 teams are way ahead of the game but what really makes up a true certified capsule in the Pro division for example? Can I just make a mold and start laying up sheets of carbon fiber one over the next as they dry? Then call it a certified capsule?
Clearly the clip above shows how a capsule will save your life my intertest is in the head restraints
I know, get back on your blog Dan and stop causing trouble
