Yamato 102 Ign coils

I am posting this question regarding the availability of coils for this engine.I purchased a 102 as it was a cheap e-bay deal to get into racing knowing I was buying an old engine.I am very happy with the performance and serviceability and don't mind playing around with points.A recent search for coils has revealed that everyone who has any is hording them for there own spares, understandable as apparently no new old stock exists.Does everyone plan to "scrap" their engine if and when it needs a coil ? Can a different coil be utilised if found to fit ? Has anyone done any leg-work on this ???

Thought aftermarket coils were allowed this year?.....Can they can also be mounted outside mag?

Anyone else on this?
