    Good Grief

Now I know why I use a bolt and nut, grade 5. It works, I have not had any trouble running it on the highest torqe engine Mod has. If I tried to interpret all those numbers and get something to match Z440Hq6830347 or whatever I might forget to put the dang thing in !

        Merc1,

The Merc units are drilled for a 3/16" pin. I've seen a bunch of older D Merc units that had a 1/4" hole, but I don't know if that was factory or not. Some of the other units, Yamato hatchet and Konig for example, a 15mm shaft with a 1/4" hole wouldn't leave a lot of "meat" around the hole.

        18W,

Thanks for posting the number. I couldn't find any old packages (or new either for that matter!), just old pins.
        ...

OMC FE/SE powerhead parts for sale. Kurcz ported block, Mod 50 pistons and cylinder head, exhaust, etc.
