New rule: Drivers may cool their Yamatos however they wish, just no drilling into the power head.

Looks like the whole foot is in the water. They probably run abou 55mph. Watching videos there is almost no rouster tail.

I do not know but probably with the cavitation plate at the water surface, otherwise why even have one.

At what depth is a Yamato designed to run at with no pumping or heating issues ?

As one who has pulled off due to lack of cooling more times than I can count....(and almost always in 1st place)....I'd use the words "frustrating", "uncalled for" and "ridiculous"....

The Cool Team is hard at work to help solve this for all Yamato Engines. Call your SORC Commissioners and tell them 'i am mad as hell and i am not going to take it anymore' ..................(always liked that movie).

Exactly the reason I made a comment to bring it to the top of the forum. So everyone could see that possibly this problem may never be resolved. Might be time to look at another class before I spend anymore money on a "stock" Yamato

It is discouraging to guys that been in the sport for years also my friend! Hopefully in 2018 the problem will be resolved PERMANENTLY. Stay tuned!
