B mod - 80 Yamato gearcase

I have purchased a B mod 80, it runs very well , the gearfoot has a front water pick up, it still seems a little "blunt". I have a nose cone on my C mod 302 that works well. Whats the hot set up for the B mod 80? , nose cone?, weld and shape?

with a water pickup.Then sent it to me and I'll dail it in.
