  • FAH/FAR ... Status Report?

Anybody else besides me that wants to know what the general consensus is of HR readers regarding the future of "Formula A"? Just curious about this class long term ... what regions have consistently good participation? Is Formula A going to simply become a class that is just run at the mod nationals or does it have a future?

Any rationale/opinions as to dropping these two classes from the mod category?

    Combine

I don't know of but a small handful of true Formula A engines. Most are stocks stepping up into the class. To many A classes to contend with is my opinion. But with the strong contingent of J drivers, it might grow very well in the next 5 years, who knows.

FAR and FAH are basically dead. Rarely race in the midwest.

      16 FAR last year Nationally
      18 FAH last year Nationally

Only see them at the Nationals. And as Dave said...majority are "stock" engines.

The emergence of AXSH and AXSR have done away with the need for that class as a 2nd ride...which most entrants were using it as.
