2005 Mercury 50 59ci***Input Needed***

I have a 2005 Mercury 50 59ci. It is stock as of now. I was wondering what could be done to increase the horsepower out of the motor. Would like to get around 65 to 70 hp from the motor. I also would like to know if there is any other tiller handle options for the Mercury 50. I would like to have the gear shifter and tilt and trim controls in the handle.

I know this isn't the answer you are looking for, but here goes. I am afraid that by the time all the machine work and parts were put into this motor, assuming you could reach your horsepower goal, you would find that it would be cheaper to just buy a 70hp motor and be done with it. On top of that I think you would find that a 15-20hp increase would not provide the performance increase I think you are looking for.
