J decal question?

I've been following this thread in lurk mode. From where I sit, I don't see any real problem with running the "patriotic edition" aftermarket decals...that said, we'll discuss among the J committee and see if there is a need to adjust the wording to make it clear that decals like this are ok.

Additionally, if anybody else has any suggestions (like allowing the rubber T tie downs) that they would like to see implemented, please let me know ASAP. I'd like to get our agenda confirmed by end of the calendar year.

Update: The decal issue was brought up to the committee, and the consensus of the committee was that as long as the original factory decals are available (and they are), there would be no change to open up the rules to allow aftermarket designs on the decals. So don't run on to ebay and buy these just yet.

Can you please add...Can remove the stock kick out mechanism in the tower/clamp brackets, to save fingers and ease of setup with boat mounted bracket.
