camera system for race starts

I have been asked by my club to update our camera system for race starts. Currently we are using a video camera, VCR and TV equipment thats 10 years old. I want to find out what people are using today and what works best. We are looking for a system thats easy to use.

If any of you racers have first hand knowlege of what type of camera system is used at your races I would appreicate a response.
