this relates to my other post about the 22ci OMC, a head gasket
as a starting point I would use the same material that was used for the 15 HotRod
not sure who did that, Tom Moulder??
anyhow it is Garlock GRAPH-LOCK 3124
a wire reinforced laminate, 027 thick
I've done the obvious, a web search, and contacted a few that looked possible
but maybe someone here can give me a short cut to the right place
this is not stuff I am going to try to cut myself

I have seen gaskets cut with a water jet and they will cut about anything, I think I would go with a soft copper.

Larry Mac is correct.. A water jet will cut about anything.. Set up right,, it will cut that thin material within
+- .002 of the needed geometry.. The company that I work for has 4-4000 watt lasers,, but not good for cutting
that .005---.010 material,, but will cut .075 stainless at 280 inches per minute,, etc,,, ect.
Working...
