55h aftermarket part numbers

Looking for 55h gearfoot seal and bearing numbers for aftermarket sources. Grubs has most but looking at upgrade options.

Are the impellers that Grubs uses from Phil or other source?I hear they are not the best? Any analysis?

Anyone used one from Phil's reproduction run?

Hey Brian,

Cr6720 - tailcone and some W/P housing - some w/p use and FM seal as in in Ted's housing. I do not have that number. Dave Woodell had a list on here a while ago , I am sure he would post it again.
Cr7415 - Pilot seal

B-118 Torrington - T/C
BA-118Z - IKO - TC

GB-1112 - torrington - case driveshaft and prop shaft
BA-1112-Z IKO - case drive shaft and prop - shaft

SK6005 C3 prop shaft/drive gear bearing
Fafnir S8K - Driveshaft upper bearings

I am sure there are crosses but the S8K seems to be the correct height.

I have used Grubbs w/p's and I do not think they are McDaniels but look the same. they are tight when you tighten everything up.
