Does anyone have the GLM part numbers for the aftermarket replacement pistions for the OMC A motor? I think they make 2 different ones, one that has a coating on the piston that is not legal and one without the coating.

GLM makes .030 over pistons for the 4 cylinder Merc 44 cu in that fit 1970 to 2002 that are the 2 ring configuration. I am a GLM dealer. I offer GLM parts to racers for 40% off list + UPS. I can arrange drop shipments directly to you from GLM to reduce costs.

Isn't anyone concerned about the possibility that--with the plethora of replacement parts that have, and could be, approved for the various motors in our category--maybe there could be performance disparities between the parts? Is this Stock racing at all anymore?Ryan Runne

you are right Ryan
except what do we do given that fact that OMC pistons are no longer available? The SORC approved the GLM, what else could they do?Support your local club and local races.
