I can't quite see the pitch of the propellers from the pics, is the gearcase contra-rotating?

Engine from the past..........

Another engine that has been brought up by my Dad, and most recently, by Hap Mulvany, is the Flambeau. Kind of gave a whole new meaning to masochist. A million screws holding a clam shell motor together. Change a water pump? Nah.......buy a new one. But they were quick...............
