  • Yamato 302 fuel line

Does the fuel line from the tank to carb on a 302 need to be any special material? the originial line is some sort of plastic. the one i have is as hard as my head. can i also use an in-line filter? thanks in advance.

You can use any fuel line and an inline filter(small one from motorcycle shop) may save your bacon. Jack

I use 1/4" id transparent blue fuel line. You can get it at most any motorcycle shop, you can also buy it online. As for a filter I would highly recomend using one, don't forget to have a few spares.

      Good Luck !

          Fuel filter

I found this one out the hard way (like most things I find out , you do not want to use the paper type fuel filters. If they get a little water in them the filter will clog up, and considering where we use these filters.... We run the re-usable mesh type filter, there are many sources for them.
