J class rounded tips

I am getting conflicting answers as to whether the sponson tips on a J hydro need to be rounded off. Trying to figure it out in the rule book was mind bending. Does anyone have clarification?

I found Saftey rule 4, Operations , to be helpful explaining that it is illegal for a J driver to sit or stand on their motor while racing.
