    You mite try putting 2 or 3 lbs. of lead in the nose. I like it my self. It seams to slow the front action down a little. Good for us 60 year old guys with slow reaction time. Good luck (CSR IS A WILD RIDE) IT KEEPS YOU YOUNG. Hurricane Bill

      Straight and true

      Make sure that you double check you fin. If it is not straight or if the material is not the right alloy, it will cause control issues too!

      Perfectly parrallel to the keel and perpendicular to the planing surface or canted in a very few degrees.

      Fins can do whacky stuff.

        In my experience, this is not really a problem. One of the things I've experienced, and told people interested in CSR is that it's not a class for the weak hearted. Any CSR I've ever driven needs to be driven hard and fast to flatten out and run right.

            Not much I can add here. My buddy built a Sorenson. It's a really good boat - you just need to find that sweet spot that everyone mentions. You definitely have the motor too deep - I bet that pretty much solves it. Once you do get it trimmed out - it'll go like stink!

              Thanks, this is a great website! After digesting all of this good info, I think I will leave the bottom alone and get the motor height and kickout right. If it still wants to pop its nose in the chop, I can move some weight forward. I am about 210lbs with all gear. My boat is built light, so it needs some weights to meet the class minimum. I noticed all of the boats set up right fly slightly bow up and land flat.
